As general manager of ARC Abatement’s Dallas office, Steve Chappell brings a wealth of knowledge on asbestos, lead and mold abatement practices.

Chappell is an instructor for the State of Texas on environmental contracting, and he is a highly sought-after speaker to educate others on the dangers of asbestos and other major environmental issues.

After working as a sub-contractor for many years, Chappell joined ARC in 1996 when the company expanded to open its second office in Dallas. Chappell manages projects that range from small residential to large commercial projects for a variety of clients including property owners, management companies, general contractors, insurance companies and environmental consultants.

Chappell was most recently called upon to oversee the safe removal of asbestos from buildings owned by First Baptist Church Dallas prior to their implosion. Chappell turned over the “asbestos free” site to the demolition company on time and on budget.

Chappell’s environmental and construction career began in 1981 after attending Southwest Bible College. He is married with two children.
