UXO jobs require special attention, which is why our services are overseen by a UXO contracting specialist with over 35 years of government experience in war-torn regions.
A UXO, or unexploded ordnance, is any type of explosive military munitions/ordnance that has been prepared for use and once activated, fails to explode, either by default or design. ARC contracts with trained and certified Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1 unexploded ordnance specialists, and works with the U.S. Department of Defense as well as private munitions manufacturers and arsenals.
ARC provides UXO remediation services including munitions transportation, decommissioning (disarming) of unexploded ordnances and the remediation of massive amounts of lead left over in gun and military bombing ranges that contribute to the contamination and pollution in the water and soil.
Ordnances handled include:
- Conventional bombs
- Grenades/Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs)
- Landmines
- Torpedoes
- Missiles
- Rockets
We also specialize in the decommissioning of ordnances in various states of decay, including 50 to 60 year-old WWII munitions eroding from mold, rust and water on land and sea.
