Asbestos Abatement After Hurricane Harvey

 In Blog, Newsroom

ARC Abatement was contracted to perform asbestos removal at the historic Magnolia Ballroom located in the heart of downtown Houston, Texas.  This 7,000 square foot, five-figure job started in October 2017,  two months after the devastating impact of Hurricane Harvey. According to Rick Rickels, general manager of ARC’s Houston office, Magnolia’s basement was completely flooded and eight feet of water stood in the ballroom which went above the main ceiling. ARC’s efficient planning and teamwork allowed for completion of the abatement work in just two weeks making for a very happy client.  The Magnolia Ballroom is well on its way to a complete remodel, and we are pleased to be a part of helping this Houston landmark begin its recovery back from the storm. Asbestos abatement after Hurricane Harvey is the type of project we hope to have few of in the future.
