CASE STUDY: Asbestos Abatement Loveland Colorado
In Loveland, Colorado one of its main thoroughfares, Taft Avenue, will be widened in 2022. To accomplish this, homes will be demolished to make room for expansion. But before the demolition company takes down the houses, a team of five technicians from ARC’s Denver office abated the asbestos in the homes. Asbestos abatement ensures clean air and dust when the demo takes place. The project began in August 2018 and completed in two phases in mid-December 2018. Working on a busy street can be challenging, one which we overcame.
Other asbestos abatement projects managed by our offices include the Grand Junction Veterans Administration, the redevelopment of Sun Valley for the Denver Housing Authority, three apartment buildings for the City of Aurora Housing Authority, Colorado Plains Medical Center, the U.S. Army installation at Fort Carson, five apartment complexes for Boulder Housing Partners, abatement at the Southview Place Towers Apartments, the abatement of the RTD Civic Center project at Colfax & Broadway in downtown Denver, the complete abatement of Aims Community College – PSI Building, Denver Public Schools, Adams 12 Five Star Schools and University of Colorado – Boulder.
Lead abatement projects include the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and the largest Regulation No. 19 lead cleanup in Colorado’s history, which resulted from a downtown Denver apartment building explosion. With 12 licensed Reg. 19 technicians, the cleanup was completed in just more than two months.
ARC Colorado provides methamphetamine lab cleanup. Our clients for this service include several rental property owners and the Boulder County Housing Authority. We also offer facility disinfecting services in response to COVID-19.
