An estimated two million employees in the construction and general industry face significant asbestos exposure on the job. The heaviest exposure occurs in the construction industry, particularly during the removal of asbestos during renovation or demolition. ARC Abatement can assist in the proper removal of asbestos before a renovation or demolition project. With nearly 30 years of experience, our team is fully licensed and accredited to perform any size asbestos abatement, from private establishments to large industrial and government facilities.
Asbestos abatement is our trademark service with 12 million asbestos and scaffolding man-hours.
ARC Abatement is the single source for industrial asbestos abatement including scaffolding for power plants, manufacturing facilities and industrial and petrochemical companies. Our industrial division is headed up by ARC General Manager Warren Brown.
In 30+ years, we have logged more than 12,000,000 asbestos abatement and scaffolding man-hours. Many of our projects required creative scaffolding solutions in environments that require adaptability as well as safety for our personnel. For small and large projects, ARC’s technicians are available to travel throughout the country and be ready to manage your project from start to finish. Our scaffolding equipment is owned by us, and it meets the industry’s ever-changing safety standards no matter how complex the project.
Several of our power plant asbestos abatement projects have been in the southern United States. However, ARC has eight regional offices across the nation from Denver to Tampa, and we are capable of serving power companies across the United States.
One power plant asbestos project had us smelling the clean Gulf air. It was a six-figure project has ARC abating asbestos in the turbine room of a power plant in south Texas, near the Gulf of Mexico. Though the boiler room was abandoned nearly a decade ago, and the conditions around the site during the cleanup have been less than ideal, the project was completed on time and on budget. Environmental cleanup projects such as this one in south Texas are particularly important in coastal areas such as this because of their delicate ecosystems and ocean contiguity.
Another project took us to Savoy, Texas, where we abated asbestos from a TXU power plant. This seven-figure environmental remediation project is furthering TXU’s efforts to provide clean, affordable energy. TXU has found so much success with clean energy production that they are offering free energy to their customers during certain parts of the day. Similar projects include Plant Eaton, Cleco, and Natchitoches Power Plants.
ARC Abatement was founded in 1990 to meet the needs of the environmental remediation industry. ARC is a proven leader and has built and maintained a reputation based on quality and integrity.
